Gotta give a big ditto to Trader Joe's! I'm heading there to stock up on healthier snacks and easy meal options today!

I recently wrote a post about lunch choices, too. I'm pretty new to trying to find healthier choices for food and when I go and actually research the labels of the restaurant foods and frozen meals...it's a learning experience!

Have you ever been to Trader Joes or Whole Foods? I personally like Trader Joes better, but there are just some things you can get at Whole Foods that you can’t at Trader Joes. Randall and I have been on a gluten free, dairy free, no sugar (including fake), and basically ruling out all boxed preservative free foods. The first couple weeks were hard for Randall and I due to the fact that we love bread, but once you take gluten out of the picture it actually decreases cravings for carbs. A book that changed my whole outlook on diet was Ultra Prevention by Dr. Mark Hyman. It’s quite a commitment taking these things out of your diet, but at least for Randall and I it has made our whole body function better. Sometimes we fall off the wagon and have fast food...and we pay for it. It feels like a brick in your stomach and just overall ill feeling. Any who just a suggestion.
