I blame Jordan and UCF. Jordan knew before going to UCF of the Adidas contract. He knew right away that that was going to be an issue. UCF is probably the only school that offered him the opportunity to play. Jordan should just be thankful for the opportunity that he has been given and adapt for three or four years. What? Seriously? You think Nike would drop the Jordan brand because for four years his no name son is going to wear their competitors shoe at a no name college. Pish Posh. Secondly, UCF, way to show no balls and no integrity. Awesome. Now every person that comes to play for you in any way now knows that you are complete absolute push overs. Great job. You think now Nike is going to come in and save the day? Why should they? What if another tremendous athlete's child comes to play and demands to wear Converse? Are you going to roll over and die for that media attention as well. UCF, grow up and Jordan...well I think you showed your true character.

I think the main issue is Marcus Jordan thinking he is above the university and every other athlete at UCF. No matter the motivation he put himself ahead of everyone else and that is wrong. The university now loses money and free attire because of his actions. Perhaps Nike will pick them up but thats beside the point. The other athletes that cant afford to wear Nike or Adidas products wont be able to get new equipment without the university having a contract. They all have to deal with this because of one person at the school. The school should also be blamed for not forcing Marcus to wear Adidas. They had a contract. He is an athlete at UCF. He should wear the shoes the school requires. He isnt a pro athlete and shouldnt be able to make a decision by himself that effects the university as a whole. Hopefully the less fortunate athletes at the school will have a chance at new equipment and attire if another company picks them up.
