The movie isn’t really that great, I wasn’t scared at all…if u haven’t seen it already, please do not spend $20 to see it just wait until it comes out on DVD….but I saw the two different endings as well, the one in the story and the one matt described. The one matt described was better than the other one though.

Well now that I have seen this movie by reading this blog I guess I don’t have too now. Ricky was right about district 9 but wrong about public enemy so now I am mixed up as if to go see it or not. Maybe I will wait for the dollar theatre.

The ending I saw was she stood up, got out of bed, went downstairs. After what seemed like a minute she screams hysterically, Micah runs down there, noise and commotion ensues, and then silence. Then if I remember correctly footsteps slowly coming up stairs, and then Micah being thrown from the darkness into the camera, then she walks towards him all bloody with a demonized face, and she lunges closer to him and the camera, and then credits.

I just did some research. I guess there are three endings but only one (the one I saw) was supposed to be in theatres. The theatre you went to must not have the “theatrical” version that was released most recently and instead has an older version that they tested with in 2007. Weird. I’m curious to see what kind of ending Matt saw.

Uhhh that’s not the ending I saw either. You got ripped because that ending sucks. The one I saw was awesome! Go see it at the Regal in Carmel and get the better ending. WOW that was good. Your opinions are misguided. Do you ever like anything other than Lady GaGa and golf?

4 stars and see that in the theater (not the one Ricky saw it in obviously). If you go in blind instead of researching it first and you don’t know anything about it…it’s great. Perspective is everything so if you can stop being critical and allow yourself to get pulled into the movie then you’ll love it.

I haven’t seen the movie yet nor do I think I shall. The pair who starred in the movie did a radio interview in Milwaukee recently amd it was brought up that the house in the movie belonged to someone involved in its production. I believe it was the director but I am not positive. The gist of what they said was a portion of the cost of production actually went to fix up his house. So perhaps the movie was simply a cover for an intelligent tax right off?

That isn’t the ending I saw? Did you make that up to see if we were paying attention or are they showing alternate endings? FYI I saw it in Southport the weekend before they opened up everywhere in Indy.

I’d probably give it 3 Netflix stars, and I think it was sort of the point to have inexperienced actors and directors. People gotta start somewhere man, and you helped them to be on their way.
